Every derby game, across all the leagues, are always heated encounters between two rivaling clubs of the same city. The passion, excitement, tension, etc, are always on show. Chants, boos and hatred from the home side can always be expected by the traveling team and this is exactly what Barcelona got from the home fans in the Catalan derby when they traveled to Espanyol for their 1-0 win.
But did the Espanyol fans take it too far?

Espanyol fans are accused of racially abusing Barcelona duo Neymar and Dani Alves during the two side's encounter on Saturday in the La Liga. Pealed banana skins were seen and pictured thrown into the pitch, which is known as a racial slur directed towards black or dark-skinned players of a team.

Apart from that, reports say Espanyol fans also pointed at the Barcelona duo as they made monkey noises at them.
If found guilty, Espanyol could get a big fine for the “indecent” actions of their supporters.
