TV Globo Internacional owns broadcast rights in the USA for the Brasileirão, the top flight of domestic football in Brazil.
The international channel pulls in content that airs on TV Globo in Brazil, which includes a select number of Brasileirão matches every game week.
The current deal between TV Globo and the Brasileirão runs until the end of the 2029 season, and includes up to nine matches per game week across their platforms.

TV Globo Internacional history, coverage, features
TV Globo Internacional, also known as TVGI or simply Globo, is an international Brazilian pay-TV channel available in both standard and high definition. Founded in 1999 and owned by Grupo Globo, the channel caters to Portuguese speakers in various regions outside Brazil, including the Americas, Europe, and Africa.This includes the United States, but also elsewhere in South America, with TV Globo Internacional broadcasting via cable and satellite. The channel launched in Canada in 2003 and is also accessible on Globo’s streaming platform, Globoplay.
Since its inception, TV Globo Internacional has aired a diverse array of programming, including soap operas, series, comedies, documentaries, news, and live football. Notable broadcasts include Brasileirão, Brazil's top-flight men's football league, and Copa do Brasil. However, due to the nature of broadcast rights deals in the USA, these competitions might be restricted or unavailable stateside.
TV Globo Internacional has been offered by several third-party premium TV providers in the U.S., including Dish Network, DirecTV, and Xfinity. Availability on these platforms, however, is subject to change.
