The Blues boss will be keen on solving this issue before they travel to Leicester on Tuesday in the League Cup.

On Friday, Chelsea unbeaten streak in the English Premier League came to an end as they suffered a defeat to Liverpool in Matchday 5 of the new season.

Despite playing at their home stadium the Blues were beaten 2-1 by a rampant Reds side, with Diego Costa consolidation goal proving unable to spark a comeback.

Antonio Conte, who saw his three-year unbeaten home record come to an end, identified the main reason behind the club’s recent defeat whilst speaking to the media.

According to the Italian boss, it wasn’t Chelsea’s poor midfield, nor their almost non-existing attacking threat, rather the absence of veteran center-back John Terry.

The English who came close to a Stamford Bridge exit over the summer missed out due to an ankle injury. His absence was felt, as a disorganized backline conceded to Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson.

Conte feels that Chelsea conceded to avoidable goals, though he did hail Henderson for his beautiful strike, as he went on to argue that these lapses in concentration could have been cut out by the English defender.

"I think we missed the organisation [of Terry] in certain situations: free-kicks, throw-ins. You must pay attention," Goal quote the Blues manager as saying.

"In the first half I must be honest, I think that we gave away two goals – the first after a free-kick that they took very quickly and the second after a throw-in when Henderson received the ball free and shot from long distance, a great goal.

"When you give away two goals in this way, I think it's very difficult because against Liverpool you play with a great team.

"These are tough games and I think that you must pay attention in every moment, in every single minute of the game, every second, because the details make the difference."

The former Juve tactician refused to announce a return date for Terry, revealing that he had no idea when their skipper will be back from injury.

"I don't know this. He had an injury in his ankle and I don't know exactly the time that he will take to recover."
