SportsEngine Play is a streaming platform founded by NBC Sports Next, a division of NBC Sports. The platform was announced in late 2023, with a TV streaming app promised for the following year, 2024, delivering live and on-demand video of youth and amateur sporting events.Not only can viewers livestream youth and amateur sporting events on SportsEngine Play, but the streaming service also allows teams to capture their games and moments while enabling athletes to create their own highlight reels. This can be done through personal phones or professionally installed cameras at stadiums, with SportsEngine Play boasting video editing tools.
Soccer, football, basketball, baseball, hockey, volleyball, figure skating, gymnastics, and martial arts have all been featured on the streaming service. The platform is accessible either through the SportsEngine Play app or via its official website.
Organizations, teams, and players need a subscription to utilize SportsEngine Play. However, once subscribed, customers can livestream to viewers for free.
