Having played to a scoreless draw on Saturday against Sporting, Porto is now two points back from first placed Benfica.

Porto's run of form made them the favorites to come out of the Estadio de Alvalade with the full three points, but Sporting was able to take a point from the current Portuguese Champions.

With that draw, came frustration for Porto as they are now two points back from rivals Benfica in the title race. What makes things even more interesting is the fact that Benfica will travel to Porto in the second to last match of the 2012/13 season. That match will likely be the highlight to a season that has been very kind to both Benfica and Porto.

Despite a two point deficit, Porto's manager believes that things are far from decided. He also stated that claiming the Portuguese title once again is his top priority.

"Those who believe that the title has been already given to another team are kidding themselves," Pereira said in his press conference leading up to Porto's match with Estoril on Friday.

"We have full belief in our work, our success. I do not have to sit here and hope for my opponents to slip up. It is not part of our character. We need to concentrate on our work, the schedule is the same for everyone. I do not believe that the teams that are in a relegation battle are less motivated than those who are battling for a European spot. The difficulty of the last matches come from that, everyone is battling for something."

Regardless of what anyone believes or thinks, this season's title is going to come down to the wire. It is also very possible that it could come down to the meeting between the top two teams late in the campaign.

Porto will have to get back on track Friday as they will host an Estoril side, which has been surprising this year. They are seventh in the Portuguese League, but are just one point from a European spot.

Vitor Pereira's men will need to make sure they do not make things difficult at home as they have done lately, giving them some confidence heading into their Champions League match next week in Spain, against Malaga.
