Match of the weekend: Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Salzburg
Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Salzburg is the standout game for the playoffs. After stunning everyone in the Champions League last season, albeit mainly due to Erling Braut Haaland's amazing form, the Austrian side are now fighting to make the 2019/20 campaign. Jesse Marsch's side won the Austrian Bundesliga title, thus earning a ticket to this playoff round, meaning this will be their first game in the race to make UEFA's premier club competition.
Maccabi Tel Aviv, on the other hand, kicked things off in the first qualifying round. They may have won the Israeli Premier League crown last term but that did not spare them from a long route to the UCL. First, they had to overcome Riga, beating them 2-0. Next up was Sūduva. Maccabi brushed them aside 3-0 before beating Dinamo Brest 1-0 to set up this tie.
Salzburg, meanwhile, are on a four-game winning streak and have only failed to win three of their last 13 fixtures, with only one ending in a defeat (D2). It should be noted that these two clubs have never faced off before so this should make for an interesting tie.

Key talking points
After knocking out Benfica, will PAOK now eliminate Krasnodar to qualify from Europe?
PAOK pulled off an upset in the previous qualifying round. The Greek side drew Benfica for the third stage but beat the Portuguese giants to reach the playoffs, a result which came as a huge upset against Jorge Jesus' side. The question on everyone's mind is whether they can repeat this feat against the Russian Premier League's sixth-placed Krasnodar. Unlike in the Benfica game, this fixture will be played over two legs, making it a whole different prospect. Regardless, time will reveal the answer.
