La Liga title contenders Barcelona suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat in the hands of Deportivo La Coruna at the Riazor. The hosts took the lead in the 40th minute through Joselu, but Luis Suarez equalized for the visitors just one minute into the second half.
But the final nail was drawn into Barca's coffin in the 74th minute by Alejandro Bergantinos. Rivals Real Madrid now have a chance to top the league this weekend when they play Real Betis shortly.
