Pep Guardiola's Manchester City could be getting in trouble away from the pitch, following their failure to comply with the FA's anti-doping rules.
In a statement released earlier today by the Football Association, the Sky Blues are being accused of failing to ensure the "Club Whereabouts" information was up to date. This information comes in handy for whenever the FA feels it suitable to administer players random drug tests.
The problem with Man City's failure to provide this information is simple: they have failed to do so three times. With that in mind, the FA will give the team until January 19 to reply to these charges.
There has been no official statement from Manchester City at the time this article is being written.
Manchester City has been involved in a series of controversies with the FA, especially after the fight that broke out during the final moments of their clash against Chelsea. The team's punishment will be decided once a verdict is reached, but the possibilites go from paying a fine to have points deducted from their season's total.
Here's the FA's press release on the matter.
