Matchday 17 of the English Premier League is done and dusted; the weekend and Monday games have been played, with a number of changes occurring in the table. Chelsea continue to lead the pack, but it’s a different elsewhere.
Arsenal dropped to fourth after their loss to Man City, whilst Liverpool climbed to second after a dramatic Merseyside Derby victory. Here’s how the table looks like.

The English Premier League is unpredictable, so Chelsea fans won’t hold their breath on winning the title. But they are confident, and rightly so.
Firstly, they head into Christmas as league leaders. We all know what happened the previous four times this happened.

Arsenal worse at bottling it this season
If you’re an Arsenal fan, this was definitely a bad week. Losing 2-1 to both Everton and Man City in one week despite taking the lead in both matches saw them drop to fourth. And then there was that thing about the Champions League draw.
The Gunners also bottled it against Liverpool, losing 4-3 despite taking the lead. That means three times they have lost a game from a leading position, one more than they did in the entire 15/16 season.
