After their disappointing Clasico defeat, the Blaugrana will get ready to host Los Rojiblancos in the Champions League.

On Saturday, Barcelona were beaten 2-1 at home to Real Madrid, as Zinedine Zidane outsmarted Luis Enrique's crew in his very first Clasico fixture.

The result was a disappointing one for the Spanish Primera Division leaders, as their MSN attacking trio put in an abysmal performance.

However, the Blaugrana have no time to get over the defeat, as Camp Nou prepares for another important match: a Champions League last 8 clash with Atletico Madrid.

Here are five records at stake in Tuesday's game.

Barca’s other unbeaten record

Barcelona epic 39-game unbeaten run came to an end with the 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid; however, the reigning Liga BBVA and Champions League holders are yet to lose in Europe this season.

Atletico’s unbeaten record vs Barca

The other Madrid giants have never lost to the Catalan heavyweight in the Champions League, a wonderful record heading into Tuesday’s game.

In all fairness, though, the two Spanish sides have only been paired against each other once over a two-legged quarter-final affair, with Simeone’s boys drawing one and winning the other.

Leo’s dry spell in front of goal

The Blaugrana superstar has failed to find the back of the net or assist a goal in his last two games for the Catalan giants. This has only happened on 2 other occasions in 2016.

Luis Enrique’s men have only won one game (D2, L1) in which Messi failed to score and assist since the New Year, showing that Barca still suffer with a lackluster Leo even if Suarez and Neymar are firing at all cylinders.

However, the 28-year-old will be keen on finding the back of the net to reach a new feat…

Messi’s 500

The party was spoilt in El Clasico by Los Blancos’ defense, as the Camp Nou crowd prepared to celebrate Messi’s 500th career goal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, though, could score his 500th goal against Atletico, given his wonderful goalscoring form at home against Los Rojiblancos (15 goals, 3 assists).

10 win-less trips to Camp Nou

In La Liga, Los Rojiblancos have gone 10 games without a win away to Barcelona. However, the two teams will now meet in Europe, as Atletico look to put an end to their atrocious Camp Nou record.
