The 22-year-old Belgium international has been in sensational form for the Toffees this season in the Premier League, having netted 18 goals so far. Spurs’ Harry Kane leads the top scorers chart with 20 Premier League goals, while Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy comes second with 19 goals. Lukaku is comes third in the list of top scorers this season in the PL and at just 22 years of age, he could be destined to greatness in the world of football.
The English publication also adds that the former Chelsea man is a top transfer target for European bigwigs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and his former side Chelsea.
But Old Trafford seems to be his next destination considering the fact that the Red Devils have been struggling in their hunt for goals this season, and are in dire need to buy a proven attacker. If the 20-time Premier League champions agree to part with the required amount, Lukaku could reunite with his former boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. The Portuguese tactician has also been linked with the Man Utd job in the summer, if the English giants decide to part ways with the embattled Louis Van Gaal.
Everton will face Man United at Old Trafford in their next Premier League fixture, a match that would give Lukaku the perfect platform to impress is would-be future employers.
