The bad news kept on piling for the Old Lady, as another ace was declared injured for Wednesday’s 2nd leg game.

Italian giants Juventus have been handed two huge blows to their hopes of making this season's Champions League quarter-final, as two key players have been ruled out of Wednesday’ 2nd leg clash with Bayern Munich.

The reigning Serie A champions will travel to Germany on the back of the 2-2 draw from their 1st-leg tie in Turin, but will head to the Allianz Arena without star summer signing Paulo Dybala and midfield anchorman Claudio Marchisio.

The Old Lady revealed in a medical update via their official website that the Argentine attacker and Italian midfielder will miss the all-important Champions League game after succumbing to injury during training and work out, respectively.

Surprisingly, both players fell to injuries in their soleus muscles. Dybala, who suffered swelling, reported discomfort on Monday and will thus remain in Italy with the club monitoring his condition ahead of Sunday’s clash with Torino.

Marchisio, on the other hand, suffered a first-grade tear in his soleus muscle in his left leg, which will see him miss up to 20 days of action as a result.
