Wayne Rooney is one goal away from becoming the leading scorer in England's history. Switzerland has only won three out of 23 games against the Three Lions.

England and Swizterland meet in the eighth day of competition in Group E. The two best teams in this sector have six points separating them and also the fact that England already qualified to the Euro 2016 in France, while the Swiss side is still looking for its ticket.

Roy Hodgson has taken away all the pressure around him and his team by already punching the ticket, but he won't lay back and make things easy for Switzerland. Wayne Rooney, who scored one goal against San Marino in their 6-0 victory can break the record for the most goals with England by adding one more.

The Three Lions have won all seven games in the qualifying round including the time they played Switzerland in the first round. Danny Welbeck scored a brace that time to lead England to a 2-0 win.

The record in head to head matches favors England as well. While Switzerland has won three games, England has won 15 and only five of the 23 games between both sides have ended in a draw. The last time that the home team for this game did not win was in 1981. Since then, they have played nine games (W6, D3).

Swizterland expects to take advantage from how relaxed the Three Lions are They are teh ones that need the win to almost secure a spot in France. Right now, with 15 points they are in second place and Estonia is next with ten points.

The Swiss side just beat Slovenia 3-2 at home. Right now, they have won three games at home and two on the road. They have also lost one on each side of the sheet (Local, Visitor). By the way, Hodgson used to be their coach from 1992 to 1995. Right now, three of their players including Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City are based in England.

On one hand, England will wrap up the lead of Group E with a win or a draw. If Switzerland wins, they will hope Estonia does not win so they can also become a qualifier for the competition in France. Raheem Sterling (England), Granit Xhaka and Blerim Dzemaili (Switzerland) are all a card away from missing the next game.
