Colombian James Rodriguez is quickly becoming one of Santiago Bernabeu's favorites. Today, the former Monaco player gave fans a taste of his class with an astonishing goal against Almeria, which reminded some of his great goal during the World Cup against Uruguay. With this goal, Rodriguez's had a direct influence in 32 of the team's goals, scoring 16 and dishing out 16 assists. This was the South American's 40th cap with Los Blancos.
James scored the 100th goal for Real Madrid this season, making them the only team ever to score that many goals in six consecutive seasons. Their streak began back in 2010, prior to Jose Mourinho's arrival.
Real Madrid's Number 10 left the pitch with fans chanting his name and giving him a standing ovation as he was subbed by Isco.
