The Real Madrid playmaker suffered an injury during Croatia's loss to Brazil and now looks to be a doubt for their upcoming meeting with Cameroon.

Following their defeat to Brazil under controversial circumstances, Croatia will have a lot of work to do against Cameroon and Mexico if they want to get out of their group at this year's World Cup.

And their task just might get harder against the African powerhouse due to an injury to star playmaker Luka Modric.

The Real Madrid star suffered a foot injury in the team's defeat to the World Cup hosts and was promptly taken to hospital to be evaluated.

And, to make things more complicated for Niko Kovac's troops, Samuel Eto'o and his squad will be doing everything to snatch all three points, as they, too, are fighting for survival in Group A after losing 1-0 to Mexico.

Certainly, Vatreni fans will be hoping that he makes a speedy recovery as they will face off with Cameroon in just four days.
