After winning the Professional Football Association Player of the Year award, Luis Suarez takes home another prize to add on to his individual collection: the Football Writer’s Player of the Year award.

The Liverpool’s striker had to beat none other than teammate Steven Gerrard and Manchester City’s Yaya Toure to take the prize. The Uruguayan won with 52% of the votes virtually obliterating any and all competition.

Liverpool’s talent had an amazing season breaking many records and one is left wondering, how much more he could have achieved, had he not had to serve the 10 game suspension.
