Watch Manchester United kick off their pre-season tour in South Africa with a match against Amazulu on Wednesday, July 18.
Manchester United are scheduled to play a handful of matches this summer and it all starts with Wednesday’s international club friendly against South Africa’s Amazulu.

Alex Ferguson and his team are gearing up for the 2012/13 club football season. On the transfer market, the Red Devils are busy.

Fergie recently completed the signing of Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell. The experienced manager is expected to make a few more buys during the summer transfer window in view of strengthening Manchester United’s squad.

Last season, the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup winners failed to win silverware. They surprisingly crashed out from the UEFA Champions League in the group stage and exited the UEFA Europa League in the Last 8 at the expense of runners-up Athletic Bilbao.

Manchester United also let the 2011/12 English Premier League title slip away to local rivals Manchester City. Coach Alex Ferguson is expected to give fringe players a chance against Amazulu on Wednesday.

However, the mission of the Red Devil remains the same. Winning to build momentum ahead of the upcoming season is the goal.

In the United States, Amazulu vs Manchester United will be live on FOX Deportes and FOX Soccer Channel. The match kicks off at 2:00pm EST.

Meanwhile in UK, Portugal, Malta, Hong Kong, Ireland and Cyprus, the match will be live on MUTV. Football fans in Italy can follow Amazulu vs Manchester United on SportItalia 2.
