The USMNT will look to take one step closer towards the final four of the 2022/23 CONCACAF Nations League when they travel to face minnows Grenada on Friday, March 24th.

Interim boss Anthony Hudson will look to kick off his reign on a good footing as he takes charge of the USMNT against Grenada. Hudson was appointed following Gregg Berhalter's dismissal resulting from controversy instigated by Giovanni "Gio" Reyna's parents during and after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Despite the drama caused by his parents, who were angry that their son wasn't given much playing time, Reyna has nonetheless been included in the traveling party for Friday's game, and naturally, the Borussia Dortmund youngster will hope to let his football do the talking from now on.

The last meeting between Grenada and the USMNT was, as expected, all one-way traffic, with the Stars and Stripes cruising to a comfortable 5-0 lead back in June 2022. Jesús Ferreira had a day to remember, as he netted a poker, but since then, the USMNT has really struggled to find their footing. They come into this contest having won just two of their last nine games across all comps, and are presently in second spot in their group, one point behind El Salvador.

Grenada, for their part, are bottom of the group and have no chance at progressing to the semi-finals. The minnows have endured a miserable run of form as of late, with just two wins from their last 12 games and have never beaten the USMNT in four prior attempts. Naturally, as they are playing at home, they will want to avoid another humiliating result, but their visitors will be determined to pick up maximum points here as they will next face group leaders El Salvador to complete their group stage campaign.
