World Cup 2018: All 64 confirmed home and away kits

June 13, 2018 By Emmanuel K. Budu-Annor
All roads lead to Russia with the World Cup set to kick-off in grand style soon. But what will your favorite team be wearing in their quest for supremacy?

All the 32 countries participating in the summer's competition have confirmed the gears they will be making their appearances in. Unlike previous editions where a mainstream template was mostly adopted for the outfits, a pinch of uniqueness has been added to the respective jerseys to spice things up a bit.

Let's take a look at the kits from all the 32 teams which will be on display at Russia:

Argentina

Argentina's new home kit still has the blue and white stripes, but this time, it will commemorate their football association's 125-year anniversary. The away jersey is black and it is inspired by the country's away strips in years gone by.

Australia

The Socceroos' 2018 World Cup jersey is golden with a dark green collar and a unique graphic print on the sleeves. The kit pays tribute to the country's football heritage and tradition and is also inspired by a moment in the qualifiers which sealed Australia's qualification to the World Cup in Germany after 32 years of missing out.

The away kit which is predominately green and has a gold detail across it directly celebrates the Australian national team's colors.

Belgium

Belgium's home kit pays homage to their jersey worn at the 1984 Euros. The Red Devils will have a yellow strip with red and black details for their away kit.

Brazil

Same old same old. Brazil will once again don their vibrant yellow jersey although, this time, they've shaken things up a bit with the 'Samba Gold'. The kit draws its inspiration from the one worn by Pele, Jarzinho, and co. at Mexico 1970. The away kit, just as at the last edition of the World Cup, still remains blue.

Colombia

Colombia has a 1990 throwback for the home strip. However, their away kit is quite unconventional as compared to their secondary jerseys in years past. It is a blue strip with an orange trim.

Costa Rica

They were giant slayers at the last edition of the World Cup and they will be hoping for a similar campaign at Russia. Costa Rica will once again don their red home kit but this time, has a thick white line running across the should blades. The away jersey is simply a white version with black detail on the shoulder.

Croatia

Just like all the Croatian World Cup kit in years past, this year's jersey also featured the trademark checkers design. The only disparity is the large size of the checks this time around. The black away kit also adopts the same template with navy squares.

Denmark

Denmark's red home jersey at Russia 2018 pays homage to their 1986 kit. Their away strip is white with the logo of their kit sponsor Hummel in red running down the shoulders.

Egypt

Egypt's World Cup kit was inspired by their jersey at the 1990 World Cup. The home kit has a checkered pattern underlying it whiles Adidas' iconic white stripes run down the sides. The away strip is plain white with three black stripes on its side.

England

England will use white shirts and navy shorts as their home strip at the upcoming World Cup. What catches the most eyes is their elegant red away kit which features a St George's cross in its details.

France

France's home kit refabricates their blue, white and red 'Tricolore' from shirt to socks. The away strip is white with dashes of colors all over it.

Germany

Germany chose a retro of their World Cup kit in 1990 for both the home and away kits they are taking to Russia. The random pattern on the front of both white and green kits, however, differs.

Iceland

Ice, water, fire and geysers, Iceland's home kit at Russia 2018 is inspired by nature. The away kit of the World Cup debutants is predominantly white but features the blue and red colors.

Iran

Iran's white home kit has Adidas' casual plain template with three red stripes on its shoulder. The red away kit, however, has much more details as it features subtle hoops across its front.

Japan

Japan's home kit features a new shade of blue with a blend of red and white which represents the national flag. It also pays homage to the country's rich Samurai tradition. The away kit, on the other hand, was inspired by a home kit they wore in 1991.

Mexico

Mexico drew inspiration from the early 1990s for their home jersey at Russia 2018. They have maintained their traditional green shirt with some details across its chest. The away kit also mimics the country's flag.

Morocco

Morocco's home kit features a red shirt with white V-neck collar, green shorts and red socks with Adidas's three line in white at the trim. The away stripe is white overlaid with red details.

Nigeria

To many, the Super Eagles home kit tops the chart as the best jersey amongst all the 32 jerseys at this year's World Cup. The white and green kit manufactured by Nike pays homage to Nigeria's 1994 shirt. Their traditional all green jersey will now be used as their away jersey.

Panama

The inspiration for the designs of Panama's kits comes from the country's national bird, the Harpy Eagle, and the skyline of Panama City. The World Cup debutant will don a red jersey as their home outfit and the white as one for away matches.

Peru

Peru's new World Cup jerseys retain the nation's colors of white and red. The home shirt features the traditional sash with gold detail around the shoulder areas. The away kit is red.

Poland

Both white home kit and red away kit of the Polish national team has a tailored sash running through the badge. It draws inspiration from the Polish coat of arms.

Portugal

While Portugal's away kit is white with green details underlining it, their home shirt is traditional deep red with green trim - and a slash of gold to commemorate their feat at Euro 2016.

Russia

The host nation's kit is inspired by the one they wore when they won gold at 1988 Olympic Games. The red home jersey features solid white lines which run from the back across the arms and onto the chest. The away kit is written decorated with square patterns and it pays tribute to tribute to Russian architecture and the industrial cities of the country.

Saudi Arabia

There's beauty in simplicity they said but, clearly, Nike was probably bored when making this one. Saudi Arabia will go to Russia with an all-white home strip and an all-green away all, both with little or no details.

Senegal

Senegal reversed the colors from their predominantly white and green home kit to make a predominantly green and white away kit. They, however, have a motif of a lion in front of both outfits.

Serbia

Serbia will make their bow at the World Cup with a bland all-red strip with white details as the home kit and a reverse of the colors as the away. However, the country's flag is featured across the middle of the away kit.

South Korea

The Asians got Nike to whip up a red shirt, black shorts and a mix of both colors for the socks. The white away kit features their national flag at its front.

Spain

La Furia Roja's 2018 home kit was modeled after the one worn at the 1994 World Cup in the USA. Their white away kit takes inspiration from the past, sometime in the late 1980s.

Sweden

Sweden will enter Russia sporting their traditional yellow and blue colors. The new strip pays special inspiration from their 1988 shirt. The blue and yellow away kit is also a complete reverse but features subtle stripes across the front and is devoid of any stripes down the sides.

Switzerland

Switzerland's new home shirt features details modeled after the country's mountainous regions. The away strip is also inspired by the Swiss flag.

Tunisia

Designed by German kit makers Ulhsport, Tunisia's home kit features the logos of the Tunisian Football Association and the design of a goal. The North Africans will use their red kit for home games and the white for the way matches.

Uruguay

Once again, Uruguay's classic sky blue shirt, black shorts and socks combo will be present at this year's World Cup. However, they have spiced things up a bit by embossing an engineered jacquard graphic of the country's Sol de Atlántida monument at its front. The away kit remains white with sky blue detail on it.
