Eden Hazard finally scored a goal for Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge in 294 days, and its impact was evident on Twitter.

The Belgian provided some electrifying display to give the hosts a 5-1 win over Manchester City. On the other hand, the Citizens fielded quite an inferior side with the likes of Sergio Aguero, conspicuously missing. However, the fact that Hazard finally managed to score a goal was the highlight of the match.  The former Lille man did not only score, but also provided two assists.

His sterling performance comes at a time when he was facing sharp criticism from all quarters due to his comments before the Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain last week. The once-lethal forward, who showed some flashes of his former brilliant self today at the Stamford Bridge, had hinted that he would love to join the French giants.

Back to his goal, as the Stamford Bridge erupted into wild cheers, the reaction on Twitter was hilarious to say the least. The Premier League defending champions are set to face Everton in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Here is the full FA Cup Quater-Final draw:
