Inter have had their ups and downs this season but come into this game on a three game unbeaten streak. That includes a well deserved victory over a stubborn Frosinone side who were desperate to make it three straight wins as the Canarini are fighting for their Serie A status, and Luciano Spalletti's side certainly must have one eye on possibly catching up to second-placed Napoli. A victory for them over Roma would put them within four points of the Partenopei before Carlo Ancelotti's side lock horns with Atalanta after Easter, and having won four of their last six games, they now have opened up a somewhat comfortable five point gap over cross-town rivals AC Milan.

However, a slip-up against Roma could make things way more uncomfortable, and that's exactly what the Giallorossi are looking to do. The visitors sit in fifth spot and have won their last two games, putting them just one point behind the Rossoneri, who have been less than consistent as of late. A gritty 1-0 win over Udinese recently meant that the Lupi, who are now led by Claudio Ranieri after Eusebio Di Francesco's sacking, picked up consecutive wins in the league for the first time since February.

With a determined Atalanta lurking behind and desperate to push themselves in contention for a top four spot, as well as Roma's bitter rivals Lazio picking up a 2-0 win over Udinese, the Giallorossi will be hoping to get a positive result at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza - but Inter haave proven to be a very tough opponent to score against on home turf as of late.
