Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways after a shock 1-0 defeat to Leicester City last round. The Blues had not lost to the Foxes at Stamford Bridge in 18 years, but Jamie Vardy's effort was enough to give the visitors all three points and hand Maurizio Sarri his second loss in his last four Premier League games. To that end, the ex-Napoli boss will be looking for a much improved performance as they travel to face Watford, but their hosts are currently on a two-game winning streak.
Watford earned a 2-0 win over West Ham recently and now have firmly put themselves in contention for a European football spot. The hosts are just two points behind sixth-placed Manchester United, and for a side whose mere aim was to finish in the top ten, they have certainly exceeded expectations. Although Watford have struggled historically against Chelsea, it's worth to note that they recorded a 4-1 win over the Blues in their last meeting, and thus will be hoping to pick up back to back wins over the London powerhouse for the first time in 31 years.
