The French World Cup winner is reportedly seeking an Old Trafford exit after falling out with Jose Mourinho on a number of occasions.

It's no secret that Paul Pogba isn't enjoying life at Man United at the moment. The Frenchman is struggling to impress, but it's his constant bust-ups with Jose Mourinho that has him pondering a second Old Trafford exit.

PSG is one club being linked with the World Cup winner, with one of the Ligue 1 giant's biggest players reportedly phoning the midfielder over a possible switch. According to Goal, that man was none other than Neymar.

They report that the Brazilian, who is a friend of the former Juventus ace, called the player back in September to inquire whether he would be open to a move to Parc des Princes amid the Red Devils turmoil. Goal does not mention what Pogba said in response, but one could easily suspect he is considering that option.

The 25-year-old has a rocky relationship with the current Man United boss and has clashed with the Special One on several occasions. The midfielder has publicly flirted with the idea of leaving long before the pair fell out on camera in a training session after the Derby defeat.

It is for this reason that the Frenchman is being linked with a move to his home country. The prospect of joining his Brazilian friend and Les Bleus team-mate Kylian Mbappe could be hard to refuse, but it is hard to see PSG affording Paul.

Despite his poor form, the World Cup winner is a talented and marketable player who is under contract at the Theatre of Dreams until 2021. If the Premier League side is open to selling their record-signing, he would not go for cheap.

PSG faces financial constraint as they are under investigation by UEFA over the signing of Neymar and Mbappe. Goncalo Guedes, Javier Pastore, Yuri Berchiche and Odsonne Edouard were all sold by the club in an attempt to balance the books to avoid FFP trouble and is thus tipped to stay away from mega-money transfers until they are out of the woods.
