The title has already been won, but Barcelona’s final league game of this season will be an important one for the club. The clash with Real Sociedad will be the final game for Andres Iniesta in a Blaugrana jersey.
The Spanish icon announced that this will be his final season with the Catalan giant. Having spent his entire professional career with the team, the club and its fans are gearing up for an amazing send-off at Camp Nou on Sunday.
Ahead of that game, Barcelona released a touching video in which many sports icon – both in and outside the world of football – summed up the 34-year-old in one word. Former team-mates such as Xavi, Puyol, Abidal, Valdes, Pedro, and Villa featured.
But it didn’t stop there, as former opponents joined to pay tribute to the World Cup winner. The likes of Buffon, Nedved, Van der Saar, De Bruyne, Ribery, Totti, and Ramos praised Iniesta. Check it out in the video below.
