The game served up its fair portion of drama but it was far from a classic Hollywood movie. Willian scored the first goal of the game after hitting the post twice but Lionel Messi broke his scoreless hoodoo against Chelsea to clinch a vital equalizer for the Blaugrana ahead of the second leg game at the Camp Nou.
Nevertheless, the great piece of football action witnessed by fans all over the world was subtly marred by the antics of Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba. At one instance, the pair were seen clutching their feet while supposedly in agony after being on the ends of respective tackles.
This has subsequently caused some peeved fans to tear into the two Barcelona players. A photograph portraying the actions of the duo started circulating on Twitter and a few people have enough reason to believe that Suarez even dived in the build-up to Barca’s leveler.

The fact the ref let Suarez dive- do nothing- let them score- and then book him summed up that entire night

Suarez and Alba committing to a very dramatic synchronized dive. Nice one lads.

No mention of dive by Suarez to try to win a pen before their goal which should've resulted in a free kick to us etc. Gutsy & proud #CFC

Brilliant performance should’ve won by a couple of goals. Appalling decision to not give a free kick on the Suarez dive which they end up scoring from. Still in the tie & with confidence!
