And the city of Madrid is already charged up ahead of this crucial tie that could as well decide the team that walks away with the league title at the end of the season. With Barcelona trailing Real Madrid with only three points, there is every reason to believe that this season's clasico could be the ultimate title decider.
And that explains why fans of Los Blancos poured into the streets of Madrid in their thousands as chants of 'Hala Madrid' rented the air in order to rally their support behind their beloved club. Los Blancos, who also have a game in hand, have a chance to extend their lead to six points today.
