Arsene Wenger could be punished by the England FA for an incident that occurred in the tunnels of the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was sent to the stands by the referee in his side's dramatic 2-1 win over Burnley at the Emirates on Saturday. The French tactician appeared to have been irked by the referee's decision to award the visitors a penaties on the third minute of injury time thanks to a Francis Coquelin foul on Ashley Barnes.

Wenger bitterly protested the decision and at one time, he exchanged words with the fourth official Anthony Taylor before proceeding to stand in the tunnel. And things went from bad to worse when the fourth official asked the former Monaco boss to proceed further into the tunnel.Wenger protested the request and could be seen pushing the fourth official, an incident that could attract the wrath of the FA. But speaking after the match, a regretful Wenger told reporters:

"I regret everything.

"I should have shut up and gone home. I apologise for that."

Arsenal won the match 2-1 with less than a minute to go thanks to Alexis Sanchez's penatly after Laurent Koscielny was fouled in the box while attempting to head the ball into the net. Here are some reactions on social media to the incident.
