Arsene Wenger must be feeling confident for this tie, and for good reason. Arsenal sit level on points with league leaders Man City, and head into this fixture on the back of an impressive 4-1 win over Sunderland.
The victory saw Olivier Giroud make a triumphant return from injury, scoring two goals with his first two touches upon making his comeback. This can be seen in the squad Le Prof has named, leaving a few big names back in London.
Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal, and Santi Cazorla all stayed back home, missing the trip through injury. Another key player to miss the trip to Sofia is Hector Bellerin, as Wenger gave the Spaniard a breather.
With this being a Champions League game, Granit Xhaka will be up for selection. Mesut Ozil could also be another potential starter, having grabbed a hat-trick the last time they met. Of course, with the north London derby coming up, Wenger will be keeping an eye on that tie.
