Argentina are already through to the next round; Bolivia are already out. This means progression is at stake in La Roja's clash with Los Canaleros.

The group stage of the Copa America Centenario is coming to an end. The final group – Group D – will be in action on Tuesday, as Chile prepare to face off against Panama. With Argentina having already secured progression, a spot in the next round is at stake for La Roja and Los Canaleros.

The winner in Philadelphia will move on, but which of the two sides will come out victorious?

Team news – who’s fit and who’s not?

Unfortunately for Chile, they look to be without Eugenio Mena. The 25-year-old Roja midfielder suffered a serious hamstring injury in their opening game 2-1 defeat to Argentina, and has thus been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.

Nonetheless, the forecast is clear for the reigning Copa America champions, as the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Gary Medel, and Marcelo Diaz have all recovered from their injuries in time for Tuesday’s game, with the latter highly tipped to return to the starting eleven.

Panama, though, have a selection headache on their hands, as the likes of Blas Perez, Armando Cooper, Felipe Baloy, and Anibal Godoy are all unavailable for their last group stage game due to suspension. In addition, Valentin Pimentel suffered a hip injury and thus appears destined to miss out on the mid-week tie.

Head to head

Whoever wins the Lincoln Financial Field clash will move on to the next round; however, with Juan Antonio Pizzi’s superior points tally, a draw will see Chile secure progression. As a result, Hernan Gomez’s crew will give it their all in order to secure victory.

The stats don’t back Los Canaleros to triumph over La Roja, though. These two sides have never met in this competition, though they have crossed paths three times in international friendlies. Chile remain undefeated, having beaten their opponents twice (D1).

Furthermore, Vidal and Co. are in the form of their lives, having lost only once since the start of the 2015 Copa America (W5, D2). If one stat was to work in Panama’s favor, it is Chile’s inability to keep clean sheets, as Claudio Bravo’s goal has been breached in their previous 9 games in all competitions.
