Arsenal have enjoyed their fair share of embarrassments, throwing away huge leads to either draw or lose in the English Premier League.
However, no one could have expected the Gunners to bottle their advantage after bursting into a 2-0 lead in their Saturday’s clash with West Ham, as the north London giants appeared on their way to an east win against the Hammers.
This is what Arsene Wenger’s boys precisely did, though, conceding two goals in the space of two minutes right before half-time to see their advantage pegged down thanks to an Andy Carroll brace.
The British striker then went on to shock Arsenal by completing a hat-trick right shortly after the break, netting past David Ospina for the third time in the game in the 52nd minute to put the home side ahead.
Luckily, captain Laurent Koscielny drew Arsenal level with 10 minutes remaining on the clock, but by then the fans on Twitter had already gone on a bashing spree, labeling Arsene Wenger’s boys as “Bottle FC” after their complete and utter collapse.
We are bottle job fc, we bottle games every day, we've got no balls, can't defend and take selfies constantly. #WHUvAFC

I'm fairly sure that supporting Arsenal is bad for me in every measurable way.

I know I'm miserable and many are finding this game 'thrilling'. I'd wager none of them are Arsenal fans, though

"Is there a more miserable person on this earth than Piers Morgan?" asked one man
When Arsenal throw away a 2-0 lead?

No. https://t.co/ZdXJKdyxsw
Arsenal's whole season in one game. Looking good, screw it up, attempt a comeback...don't do quite enough.

Their hopes of pulling a miracle on beating Leicester City to the league title is all but over, but now their chances of finishing in second ahead of Tottenham looks to be in danger.
Spurs play Man United on Sunday, meaning Arsenal fans will be hoping that Mauricio Pochettino's men lose at home to the Red Devils.
