Good news for Pep Guardiola prior to the Christmas break. After eight months away from the pitch, Franck Ribery finally recovered from an ankle problem, making it back to Bayern Munich's training sessions today. Ribery picked up the injury back in March 11th in a Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk, and he could very well take part of one of the team's matches before they go on holidays.
The player was only able to play 14 games last season, given his constant injuries. Nevertheless, he managed to score five goals in the Bundesliga and three more in UEFA Champions League games.

Die Roten's next game will be against Borussia Moenchengladbach this Saturday, maybe providing Ribery the chance to return to a competitive game.
