The day begins at 6:55AM/5:55C/3:55P as Chelsea visits Tottenham for the renowned London Derby. Led by Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino, the Spurs are in the midst of an impressive 12-game streak without a loss. In their last outing, they trounced West Ham 4-1, putting them just four points behind top-ranked Leicester City. Chelsea has been hanging on by a thread in the tournament, but a 1-0 win over Norwich City last week gave Portuguese coach José Mourinho some breathing room and renewed hope that a good showing against Tottenham could put the Blues back on track.
Later in the morning, Liverpool faces Swansea City at 11AM/10C/8P, seeming to have found its rhythm as it moves steadily up the league tables. After losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace in Week 12, a defeat that ended their record of six games without a loss, the Reds came back to beat Manchester City by a resounding 4-1. They currently rank ninth in the league tables, just eight points from the top. Sunday’s game pits them against a Swansea City desperate to advance with what would be its fourth win this season.
