The United States starts its second process towards a World Cup with Jurgen Klinsmann as their head coach and they face a new rival. A nation with just over 100,000 people living in it will face the team from the most populated country in CONCACAF. In the end there are only eleven players on each side when the game starts.
Klinsmann is still wanting young faces in the national team despite the criticism he has faced from players like Landon Donovan and other soccer analysts in the United States. After losing against Mexico in the CONCACAF Playoff for the ticket to Russia's Confederations Cup in 2017, Klinsmann left many veterans aside.
Starting with Clint Dempsey, the former captain of the national team was not included in the list provided by the German manager. Fabian Johnson is another big star that Klinsmann avoided in his list for this start to the road towards Russia 2018.
11 of the 25 players that Jurgen has called for the first two games are under 25. He wants the young players to fight for their spot and proove their point. That means that players like Dempsey and Johnson are still welcome on the team once the youngsters have created a good or bad impression on their coach.

Darlington Nagbe of the Portland Timbers is one of the headliners in the roster called by Klinsmann. The Portland Timbers striker has been an American Citizen for less than three months and already aiming for his first start with USMNT.
In the roster of the visiting team, Tevin Slater is the man to watch. He has eight goals in twelve appearances and scored in both games against Aruba, helping his team reach this stage of the qualifiers. Oalex Anderson was another goal-scorer against Aruba and he is well known in the U.S. due to the fact that he plays for the Seattle Sounders 2 along with Mayron Samuel.
The game will be played in a baseball field used by the Arizona Cardinals. In order to allow fans a better visibility of the game, the poles that mark the foul territory have been taken down for the first time since 2006.
In the process towards Brazil 2014, the United States was almost unbeatable and made a fortress out of any stadium they played in their own grounds. Busch Stadium has never hosted a USMNT game and it has been almost 20 years since they played in St. Louis, Missouri.
