"Falcao is still injured," he stated.
In addition, Louis van Gaal, who spoke to the press on Friday, confirmed another thing: Wayne Rooney is fit and will feature for Man United at the Etihad Stadium. The skipper served a suspension for kicking West Ham's Stewart Downing, back in late September.

"I have heard that he [Rooney] has scored a lot of goals against City, the most of any player," LVG said.
"I said it to him to stimulate him but he doesn't need that. I am very happy that he can play again and he shall play."
Rooney, like Falcao and any other Man United player, is currently out of the English Premier League's Top 10 goalscorers this season. The English forward has netted only three goals; that is, one-third of Aguero's tally.
