Javier Hernandez has warned the Chelsea camp ahead of the huge Champions League clash tonight by insisting that Wayne Rooney is on a hot run of form.
Wayne Rooney has had a season full of ups and downs but Hernandez insisted that the Englishman is back on fire ahead of the Chelsea-United clash tonight. The former Everton striker scored a hat-rick against West Ham last weekend although some inappropriate acts after scoring his third goal overshadowed the achievement.

Nevertheless, Hernandez believes that Rooney is more than ready to have a go at Chelsea's defenders tonight.

"Wayne is in sensational form and this is an extra problem for Chelsea," Hernandez told The Sun.

"He really wants to score in the London leg and he is super motivated for this one. The manager wants us to create a lot of chances in the away leg and make sure we score so we can tackle the return leg with more options.

"That defeat by Chelsea in the league wasn't just. Our win over West Ham has improved our morale - it means we are much better placed to win the league."

Hernandez has also been at the limelight recently after some explosive performances that has seen United's top goal scorer, Dimitar Berbatov being dropped to the bench. And as expected, he believes that their forwards are more reliable than the ones present under Carlo Ancelotti's ranks.

The side with the best set of forwards will reach the semi-finals. Chelsea have an excellent attack, but our forwards are better," he said.

"Mentally we are very calm about facing Chelsea in Europe. We want to strike a blow at Stamford Bridge."

Chicharito is expected to feature alongside Rooney tonight and if Sir Alex gets his tactics spot on, both these players could literally combine to devastating effect.
