Fenerbache are currently top of the Turkish Super Lig having won three of their opening four games. They were against Kasimpasa last time out in a match the league leaders won through a solitary goal from Souza.
They will now be in a buoyant mood having not conceded in their last two European home outings. Their opponents on the other hand have failed to record a win in any of their last seven matches.
The Turkish side will be looking for inspiration from Dutch international Robin Van Persie who is yet to hit the ground running for his new club. The former Man United man has scored twice so far for Fenerbache and will be looking to improve his tally on Thursday.
Both the sides could have made it to the Champions League but suffered defeats in the third round of the Champions League Qualifying campaign. Fenerbahçe suffered a defeat at the hands of Shakhtar Donetsk whereas Molde lost to Dinamo Zagreb.
Thursday's meeting will be the first time the two sides will go head to head. Furthermore this will be the first time Fenerbahçe will go against Norwegian opponents and that Molde will have Turkish counterparts.
