Zvonimir Boban released an interview where he talked about Barcelona's talents: Messi and Neymar.

In a recent interview for Sportske Novosti, Zvonimir Boban attacked Barcelona’s forawards, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. With regards to the Argentine, the Croatian said:

“Someone should tell him the truth about himself, Messi should face Messi. He is absolutely unprepared, unfit and demotivated the whole time, except against Real Madrid, where he played with 30 per cent of his capabilities and showed how superior he is.”

Former AC Milan midfielder seems to believe that Argentina’s captain lacks motivation, but fails to even mention Messi’s physical problems. In fact, Barca’s talisman has been afflicted by some symptoms, such as the vomiting, which remain mysterious. Boban added:

“When he is fresh and if he prepares himself and wins back enthusiasm to enjoy football, he can be the best. What he has to be! Argentina has a middle of the range defence and midfield but up front Aguero and Higuain will open a lot of space for Leo and they can go far.”

Neymar is playing against Messi while on international duties

Having classified Lavezzi and Di Maria both as “middle of the range”, the Croatian goes on to talk about Neymar Jr. As to the Brazilian’s ability to win the Golden Ball, Boban stated:

“Not likely! He is not that good, not that powerful. He is amazing talent but currently is far from being top class. He will never be Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Iniesta, and specially Messi.” 

The two talents became immediately good friends, despite their rival nationalities
