De Tanzania Premier League is de hoogste divisie in het voetbalsysteem van Tanzania. De competitie werd opgericht in 1965 en stond oorspronkelijk bekend als de "National League". De Tanzania Football Federation is de overkoepelende organisatie.
De Tanzania Premier League werkt met een promotie- en degradatiesysteem met de First Division League. Er strijden 16 teams om de titel.
