The Malian Football Federation (FEMAFOOT) has confirmed the appointment of Portuguese coach Anthony da Silva to handle the national team on a three-year contract.

De Somali First Division, ook wel bekend als de Somali League of Somali Premier League, is de hoogste professionele divisie voor mannenvoetbalclubs in Somalië. De competitie werd opgericht in 1967 en valt onder het bestuur van de Somali Football Federation.

De competitie bestaat uit 10 teams en werkt met een systeem van degradatie en promotie met de Somali Second Division.
