90 minutes. That is what separates Barcelona from a spot in the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in five years as they prepare to take on PSG for part two of their quarter-finals tie. The Blaugrana earned a well-deserved 3-2 win over Les Parisiens one week ago when the two sides met in Paris thanks to a brace from Raphina and Andreas Christensen, and will hope to use that victory to its full advantage as they aim to continue their progression in this competition. Barcelona come into this game in excellent form and are unbeaten in their last 13 matches across all competitions - including wins in ten of those games.

With La Liga pretty much out of their grasp as Real Madrid have an eight point lead ahead of this weekend's highly anticipated El Clasico tie, Barcelona's only shot at silverware this season will be to win the Champions League - a title they have not won since 2015. Certainly, Xavi, who will be leaving Barcelona at the end of this season, will hope to end his managerial career with the Blaugrana on a very high note by winning the same title he won several times as a player.

Interestingly, PSG's current manager, Luis Enrique, was the man in charge as the Blaugrana easily swept aside Juventus 3-1 in that year's final, but now, the Spanish tactician finds himself on the opposite side of the pitch as he seeks to help PSG end their long wait for a first ever European title.

Despite spending astronomical amounts of money over the years, PSG have repeatedly come up short in the Champions League, and are now 90 minutes away from seeing this season end in yet another disappointment. That is, unless if they can overturn this tie. Although Les Parisiens made a run to the semi-finals in 2021 and the finals in 2020, they have not been convincing in the Champions League this season and earned just eight points from their six group stage ties.

Fortunately, they received a "favorable" draw in the round of 16 as Real Sociedad did not pose much of a challenge. However, PSG will definitely face one of their toughest tasks yet as they aim to overturn a loss from the first leg and take on the winner of the Atletico Madrid-Borussia Dortmund match for a spot in this season's final.

Barcelona: Both Gavi and Alejandro Balde have been ruled out for this game due to injuries, while Andreas Christensen and Sergio Roberto are banned after picking up yellow cards during the reverse tie with PSG.

PSG: Presnel Kimpembe, Layvin Kurzawa and Sergio Rico are all ruled out, while Nordi Mukiele will have to be evaluated after sustaining a head injury recently.
