As always, there will be plenty of interesting matches not to miss in the women's game, including the semi-finals of this season's Champions League and the opening stages of the NWSL season.

UEFA Women's Champions League
The second leg of the 2022/23 UEFA Women's Champions League gets underway this week, as Barcelona, Chelsea, Wolfsburg, and Arsenal all battle for the chance to become crowned champions of Europe at the end of this season. Barcelona, who won it in 2021, earned a narrow 1-0 win over Chelsea last week to come into their upcoming home tie this Thursday holding a slight advantage, but the Blaugrana certainly will not be sitting on their laurels when the Blues come to town.
Meanwhile, Arsenal successfully battled their way from 2-0 down to secure a 2-2 draw against Wolfsburg, but their return home turned into an absolute nightmare. Fortunately, no one was injured when Arsenal's team plane struck a bird and caught fire, but it remains to be seen if the players will still be shaken up by that frightening incident when they welcome Wolfsburg on Monday for the second part of their semi-finals tie.

NWSL
Matchday four begins on Friday as Houston Dash take on North Carolina Courage. Both teams come into this game having won one of their first three games, but have not had an overall strong start to the nascent campaign. Dash have alternated between a draw and win form their first three, while Courage started off brightly, but have lost their last two ties to slide down the table.
Elsewhere, struggling Orlando Pride, who have yet to win a single match this season, will be hoping to get themselves out of an early season crisis when they travel to battle San Diego Wave on Saturday. San Diego, for their part, ended up losing last time out so it goes without saying they will be keen on getting back to winning ways and taking advantage of Pride's poor early form.
Kansas City Current are another side who have had a poor start, and have also yet to win a single game so far this term. Having lost their first three times, Current will hope to make amends in a home tie against NJ/NY Gotham, but that may be a lot easier said than done this Sunday.

Primera División (Liga F)
With 25 wins from 25 games, it looks like no one will be able to stop Barcelona from cruising to the league title. The Blaugrana not only have picked up a perfect 75 points, but continue to surge ahead at a shocking rate, with 105 goals scored and just five conceded. The Liga F winners will continue their steady march towards another domestic crown on April 30th, just three days after facing Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Certainly, fatigue could be an issue given that the Blaugrana will play two games in three days. However, both ties are at home, and the team they will be facing on Saturday, Sporting de Huelva, have won just one of their last five games and are just two points away from the drop zone. So, even if Barcelona do opt to rest quite a few key players - and they are expected to - it's hard to see anything but a win for them against a struggling opponent when they resume league matches this weekend.
Second-placed Real Madrid are a whopping ten points behind the league leaders, but Las Blancas will hope to continue onwards and make it a fourth league win on the trot when they welcome fellow Madrid-based side Madrid this Sunday. The visiting side currently sit in fifth spot, which is a massive improvement over their 13th-placed finish last season, and despite being the seeming underdogs in this tie, will hope that their recently strong form could help them pick up at least one point this weekend.

Meanwhile, there has been some exciting new revelations regarding broadcast details for the upcoming FIFA 2023 Women's World Cup. Set to kick off in just a few months' time, the latest installment of the inter-continental tournament will be covered by multiple broadcasters worldwide, including FOX Sports.
The American-based broadcaster will cover all 64 matches of the tournament, which begins on July 20th and ends on August 20th, via its family of channels as well as its dedicated streaming app.
