Los Blancos are already taking steps to end the current season when they are allowed to resume by Spain's health authorities.

Real Madrid may be thinking about a bold strategy to play their home games away from Santiago Bernabeu in order to fulfill one of Florentino Pérez's dreams.

According to a report by Marca, Los Blancos are considering to play the rest of their home matches at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, located in the team's training complex at Valdebebas. Those games would not be the first official matches played there, as Real Madrid Castilla plays their games there.

Playing the rest of the games behind closed doors is seemingly the option to play all the scheduled matches in all domestic leagues due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and given that Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is currently being remodeled, the team's activity would not disrupt the plans to speed up all work at the venue.

Real Madrid is expected to file a request to La Liga in order to change the venue to play their home games, but considering all circumstances, it doesn't seem far-fetched to think this will end up happening.
