The weather

Angola is an African country with a modest climate. In the middle of the year, the weather becomes cloudy and dusty, although precipitations become rare.

During this season (also called “winter”), pollution gets higher, and the temperature hangs about 18 degrees Celsius.

Around September and October, showers (so-called “pequena chuvas”) start falling, and the hotness remains under 38 degrees Celsius.

However, between the month of December and April, the temperature reaches its highest level; January is the time where short sleeves are to be worn.

But humidity is also present, followed by temporary heavy rains. So expect mixed weather forecasts during the entire 2010 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in January.
