Harry Kane has proven to be crucial for Tottenham's aspirations in all tournaments the team plays in, but their chances of a top-four finish in the current Premier League season have taken a massive blow.
Earlier today, Kane was ruled out until next month due to a lateral ligament injury in his right ankle. Tottenham Hotspur and the player himself confirmed the news via Twitter, with no clear indication on how many weeks it will take for Kane's ankle to heal.

Disappointing to be out until next month but injuries are part of the game. Will do everything I can to get back out there asap. pic.twitter.com/sznSx6C5Kl

Which games will Kane miss?
The Englishman will have to stay put for about 4 to 6 weeks, since this is the recovery period suggested by experts. During those weeks, Kane will miss England's call up for the upcoming International break, but Tottenham fans will have to make do without their star in some key matchups.
Tottenham's upcoming schedule (all comps)
-
Swansea City vs Tottenham (FA Cup, March 17)
-
Chelsea vs Tottenham (Premier League, March 31)
-
Stoke City vs Tottenham (Premier League, April 7)
-
Tottenham vs Manchester City (Premier League, April 14)
*The game against Newcastle could also be re-scheduled during the next few weeks, depending on the team's performance in the FA Cup.
With that in mind, Kane's injury could give way for Liverpool and Chelsea to leapfrog Spurs in their chase for a top-four finish. Will Tottenham suffer from their striker's absence? Only time will tell...
