Just a few more rounds to go as we approach the last three games of the 2016/2017 Serie A season. Matchday 35 certainly did not disappoint, as there were plenty of goals. Crotone continues their late battle to avoid the drop, but Empoli will be desperate to keep the Squali at bay. Meanwhile, Juventus stumbled again whilst Lazio and Roma recorded big wins, and both AC Milan and Inter suffered another setback in their pursuit of European football.
Let's take a look at some of the talking points from this weekend.
1. Goals, goals and more goals!
Lazio have been involved in some high-scoring clashes this season. The Biancocelesti recorded a 6-2 win over Pescara, and recently crushed fellow relegation-bound Palermo by the same score-line. But over the weekend, the Aquile truly soared. Ten goals were scored in an entertaining end to end tie between themselves and Sampdoria, making this the highest scoring tie this season.
In a true display of teamwork, many players got in on the fun as Lazio routed their opponents 7-3:
"Yesterday, six different players scored for Lazio; the last team to do this in Serie A was Udinese in 2009"
6 - Ieri la Lazio è andata a segno con 6 giocatori diversi: l'ultima squadra a riuscirci in Serie A era stata l'Udinese nel 2009. Cartucce.

2. Well, there's a first time for everything
Juventus's home ground is a place where many teams have came, but failed to conquer. The Bianconeri have been absolutely perfect a home, and up until this weekend, had won every single one of their ties at Juventus Stadium.
Torino, however, had other ideas. The Granata managed to hold the Bianconeri to a draw. That marks the first at Juventus Stadium, and the second in a row for Massimiliano Allegri's side. More significant, Torino achieved something that no one had been able to do in well over a year:
591 - Juventus have not won at home in the league for the first time in 591 days (Juventus-Frosinone 1-1 on 23/09/2015). Stop. #JuveTorino

3. Roma aren't just strong that home...they have no problems on the road
Roma's 4-1 win over AC Milan over the weekend was also a match not to miss. The Giallorossi ensured they stayed in second with a resounding victory over the Rossoneri and in doing so, made history:
6 - @ASRomaEN have won 6 games away from home in a row for the first time in their Serie A history. Rolling. #MilanRoma

4. A record to celebrate for Roma...not so much for Milan
Speaking of the Roma-Milan tie, another record was matched in a game to remember for the Lupi...but one to forget for the Diavolo:
4 - #Roma have scored 4 goals at Milan's home in Serie A for the first time since January 1935. Clamorous. #MilanRoma

5. Dzeko set to break huge record for Roma
With 27 goals (36 across all comps) Edin Dzeko is enjoying his best season since Wolfsburg back during the 2008/2009 season. This weekend, he also managed to match a nearly 80-year-record:
27 - Dzeko is the first Roma player to score at least 27 goals in a single Serie A season since Enrique Guaita (1934/35). History #MilanRoma

How the race for the Capocannoniere is shaping up...
Edin Dzeko has broken away from the chasing pack thanks to his brace against AC Milan. Interestingly, Juve's Gonzalo Higuain is the only player in the top ten who has yet to convert a spot-kick this season.
