Once both teams were confirmed as UEFA Champions League contenders, German sponsor Adidas presented the third kit for Real Madrid and Manchester United. Although both teams had revealed the kits they will wear in their domestic tournaments, the sponsor revealed the colours both teams will use when playing away games,
Real Madrid will use a blue color on their kit, with a slight resemblance to the one they used a few years back. This kit will take the place of the controversial black shirt from last year, which had a dragon embroidered on the left side given Florentino Perez's Chinese dealings.
"This is the new 2015-2016 Real Madrid kit. "

On the other hand, Manchester United will have a "retro" look for their away games, with a black and red kit that brings back a legendary graphic worn by club legends such as Ryan Giggs. The team had some of its most recognizable players modelling the new kit via the team's Twitter feed.
