A Lyga geschiedenis, opzet, organisatie, media-aandacht
De A Lyga is de hoogste professionele voetbalcompetitie in Litouwen. De competitie werd opgericht in 1991 en wordt georganiseerd door de Litouwse Voetbalfederatie LFF (Litouws: Lietuvos Futbolo Federacija).
De competitie werkt volgens het promotie- en degradatiesysteem met de Lietuvo Lyga I.
