After weeks of rumors and misleading media statements, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea reportedly agreed on Diego Costa’s transfer.

The English club will pay £32M for the Spanish striker to leave La Liga’s leaders and join Mourinho’s battleship.

A physical and strong striker, like Costa, was exactly what Chelsea needed to complete a seemingly perfect and unbeatable machine.

The deal will likely become official in early June, after Simeone’s team played their last two vital games against Barcelona, to seal La Liga title, and against Real Madrid, to win the Champions League.

Diego Costa to steal Torres' spot, not only from Chelsea but likely also for Spain

The Special One is in need of a prolific striker. Mou’s three poachers, Eto’o, Torres, and Ba, scored 19 goals combined, while Diego Costa scored 35 by himself.
