The tournament in France has brought in huge audience. Check out the best figures.

The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup has been nothing but entertaining, and the viewership numbers back this claim. The game continues to grow in popularity as well as the number of people that tune in to watch the ladies battle it out for the coveted title.

The competition has not come to a conclusion yet, as the USA are yet to take on the Netherlands in Sunday's highly-anticipated final. However, a number of feats have already been set. Here are the top 12 viewership records from the FIFA Women's World Cup so far.

12. FIFA surpassed the one million ticket milestone with this edition by June 11, with 14 games being sold out by that point, including the opening games of France, Brazil and the USA, the France-USA quarter-final at the Parc des Princes, both semi-finals and the grand final in Lyon.

11. A whopping 10.302m watched the hosts beat Norway 2-1, with 9.41m tuning in to TF1 and the remaining 892,000 turning on Canal Plus to watch that victory.

10. England vs Scotland broke the UK TV viewing figure record for women's football! That record would then go on to be broken again and again.

9. 2.755m was the record audience for the Netherlands women's side when they took on Canada on  June 21. That record would go on to be broken, but it was the start of something great for the Dutch.

8. Remember that aforementioned UK record? It was broken again for England vs Norway on BBC1, with one-third of the United Kingdom viewers (6.019m) following that 3-0 victory.

7. Almost a fourth of the entire Netherlands watched their women's side book their first ever ticket to a FIFA Women's World Cup quarter-final, with 3.535m tuning in to watch them beat Japan in the round of 16. To put that into perspective, only 3.250m watched the men's side take on Portugal in the recent UEFA Nations League final.

6. Brazil's opening game against Jamaica, which was also the Reggae Girlz's first ever Women's World Cup appearance, brought in the second biggest audience of all time on June 12, with a combined 19.728m tuning in.

5. A combined 2.483m from Sweden watched their nation take on the Netherlands in the last four. That number is higher than the average viewership the men's side pulled at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

4. The highest-ever audience for a FIFA Women's World Cup quarter-final is USA's clash with France, which brought in 6.124m viewers.

3. The England vs USA semi-final is now the most watched women's game in the UK, with 8.819m tuning to BBC One to watch that game. Despite the defeat, it has gone down in the record books.

2. 5.015m viewers tuned in for the Netherlands vs Sweden, which is a high for Holland since their previous record of Euro 2017 final triumph which brought in 4.1m.

1. France vs Brazil breaks records - Not only was France vs Brazil a thriller, but it also went down in the record books as the game with the highest-ever FIFA Women's World Cup audience, with a combined 35.245m coming from the South Americans.
