2026
RTBF owns the broadcast rights in Belgium to show live coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The free-to-air broadcaster has the rights to show all 104 matches from the competition, from the first group stage match on 11 June, through to the final on 19 July.
No other broadcaster in Belgium has the rights to the competition, meaning all households in the country with a television are able to watch every minute of the tournament for free on digital and linear platforms.

2024-2027
French-language public service broadcaster RTBF airs live, free-to-air UEFA Europa League fixtures in Belgium under a rights agreement that covers the 2024-25 to 2026-27 seasons. This deal grants RTBF the rights to two Europa League and Conference League games, allowing the broadcaster to retain the first pick for matches.

2024-2027
Fans in Belgium can watch free-to-air UEFA Conference League matches in French live on Tipik. This is made possible by a broadcast rights deal secured by the RTBF-owned channel for the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons. Under this agreement, RTBF holds the rights to two Europa League and Conference League games per matchday, with the broadcaster retaining the first pick.

2022-2028

2020-2026
RTBF has secondary broadcast rights for the Belgian Juniper Pro League in Belgium, after agreeing a sublicensing deal with DAZN.
DAZN, which agreed an extensive deal for the 2025-2030 cycle, has given RTBF rights to provide digital summaries of all Juniper Pro League matches on Sunday evenings, in addition to a highlights show on a Monday.

2025-2030
RTBF is the home of the Women's Champions League for French-speaking audiences in Belgium.
The free-to-air broadcaster has the rights to the competition until the end of the 2029-30 season, with at least one match shown each game week throughout each season.
On top of this one 'standard' match, all matches featuring Belgian teams can also be watched on RTBF, specifically through 'La Une' on linear television.

La Une history, coverage, features
La Une is a free-to-air national television channel available in Belgium.The channel was launched by RTBF back in 1952 as INR before it became known as RTB seven years later in 1960. In 1977, it was renamed RTBF1, and then in 1997, it changed its name again to RTBF La Une. In 2004, it was officially rebranded as La Une.
The main purpose of the channel is to provide French-speaking households in Belgium with news, entertainment, and lifestyle programming. Sports programming has also featured on the channel in years gone by.
La Une has previously owned the broadcast rights to several editions of the FIFA World Cup, in addition to all international football matches featuring the Belgium national team.
Live football broadcasts on La Une come with French-language commentary and match analysis from popular figures in Belgian football, including Benjamin Deceuninck and Vincent Langendries.
Post-match interviews with competing players and managers are also common on La Une’s broadcasts.
Football fans can watch La Une on linear television in Belgium via channel number one. Alternatively, the channel can be streamed through the RTBF Auvio app, which houses all content owned by RTBF.
The app can be downloaded for free onto iOS and Android devices, and registered users are able to either stream the channel live or catch up on previous programming.
